Benefit to You |
Automatic issuance of serial
numbers based on the builder number and the date, OR straight
serial number increase.
|
The system does the work for
you so you dont have to spend time figuring out what
number to give the next unit to be produced. Since the serial
number is unique it is used for tracking purposes.
|
Maintains all history about
any given unit forever
|
Allows you to see what parts
went into a unit you built years ago without having to keep
a paper record of it.
|
Integrates to the Topline transaction
log. Tracks data by date, time, part number, transaction type,
user, location, machine and software call.
|
The transaction log maintains
a log of all important activity happening in your system.
You could for example look up who did what to a particular
part number and what the inventory levels were at the time.
|
Integrates with the transmission
ID_BOOK and OTHER DATA from Certified Transmission Rebuilders
Inc.
|
If you use the ID-BOOK system,
just type in the tag code on the transmission and Voila!
we give you the part number, the lever, sprockets etc. etc.
|
Integrates with Repair Shop
package from Topline/Gates Canyon
|
This allows you to sell your
finished units to the public or to other transmission shops.
Serial numbers and inventory is shared between the systems.
|
Integrates with the Topline
CORE database
|
Relieves your core bank of a
core when you start a unit so you can calculate what cores
to purchase.
|
Unlimited number of different
units can be entered into the system along with their dyno
pressure specs
|
For every different type of
unit you build you have a master record that holds all the
information needed to build that unit. Handles PRE-picked
parts and radiators.
|
Tracks all units by Serial number,
Part number, Transmission Type, Builder or MO-number and more
|
This expanded tracking capability,
allows you to do statistical analysis on your data as well
as find the unit you are looking for even if you dont
have the serial number
|
All parts and labor used on
any unit is automatically calculated into the cost of the
unit
|
Every unit built has its own
cost that stays in the system. The average cost for a unit
is calculated on a running basis and saved in the inventory
and the transmission master file.
|
Notes and memos can be added
on the fly and are available for viewing while you are browsing
through the database
|
An unlimited amount of notes
and memos gives you the flexibility you need to pick up information
about a unit as the info becomes available. Notes can be added
at any time.
|
Parts are picked by the builder
at his station, printed in the parts department and delivered
by a parts runner. All parts have bin locations so ANYBODY
can pull them off the shelf. (and put them back)
|
Your builders should spend NO
time looking for parts in the parts department. Not only is
it a waste of resource, but it creates shortages in your inventory.
By having the builders order the parts they need at their
station, they can start tearing down the next unit while the
parts runner finds and brings the parts to them.
|
Only the parts that you assign
to the unit type come up on the screen for the builder to
pick from
|
No need to wade through 20,000
items when only a couple of hundred are used in the unit.
|
Each Transmission built must
pass the dyno by falling inside the ranges in the master record
for the unit type. Only then will it be added to inventory.
|
The dyno operator is your last
check that your builder did his job right, so it is important
that he records the pressures the dyno gives him. By forcing
him to enter the dyno pressures before he sees the ranges,
you eliminate the "fudge" factor.
|
The MO system is fully integrated
with our PO system as well as the optional CROSS Reference
system .
|
This allows you to automate
your parts ordering no matter who you buy from. When ordering
parts through our PO system we AUTOMATICALLY order from
the cheapest source using THEIR part numbers and then AUTOMATICALLY
cross-reference them back to industry standard numbers when
you receive the parts
|
Fully integrated Yo-yo system
(units that return again).
|
Every time a unit returns, a
record is entered in the YOYO database so you will be able
to track the unit through multiple rebuilds. All data in the
yo-yo record is available for viewing at any time. This allows
you to sort out BAD units that keep blowing up.
|
Fully integrated to our HOTBUILD
database
|
Units being hotbuilt (as opposed
to being built for stock) are disregarded when calculating
what units need to be brought in from the core bank for building.
The hotbuild file has turned out to be one of the great features
of our software. It lets you accumulate data over time and
use it to verify what kind of transmission goes in what kind
of vehicle.
|
Cost averaging is accomplished
automatically OR you can request instant average recalculation.
|
The system will traverse THOUSANDS
of units in just seconds and give you the average cost for
the item chosen. You can choose to base the average on the
last 50, 100 or any other number of a certain unit built..
|
Cost runaway protection,
|
You set the limit we
stop the process if the cost climbs over the MAX-COST you
have specified. This can also be done on a percentage over
basis.
|
ZEBRA printer integration for
transmission labels
|
Allows you to print virtually
indestructible labels to attach to the transmission at the
time you start the job.
|
Prints Bin labels based on your
inventory with the BIN location AND the part number on the
label
|
Allows you to print binlabels
for the entire inventory or just for a few bins based on you
needs
|
BIN Database for finished units
|
In order that you can use your
inventory space more efficiently Topline has a built-in system
for tracking where in your building the finished units are
stored. It automatically sells the OLDEST units first and
tells you where the unit is located.
